following in the BODY (not the SUBJECT):

Note that I put <> around something above. That merely means that it is
optional, do not include the <> if you put your address there. If you only
send
subscribe sa22c
It will figure out your address, usually.
You'll receive a confirmation e-mail from the list software with instructions
on how to *forward* (not reply) the confirmation e-mail back to
list-request@sa22c.org. Do so, and you'll be added to the list. When you are
added, you will receive an e-mail blurb about what we like and don't like to
see.
To subscribe to the sa22c-digest mailing list, the process is very similiar;
send an e-mail to list-request@sa22c.org with the following in the BODY:
subscribe sa22c-digest <e-mail addr>
.. again where "<e-mail addr>" is optional. Forward the confirmation e-mail
back to list-request@sa22c.org and you'll receive the same blurb about list
etiquette that the sa22c (non-digest) folks see.
When you decide to unsubscribe, send an e-mail to list-request@sa22c.org with
the following in the BODY:
unsubscribe sa22c
